Cutting knives

We manufacture cutting knives for

Automotive industry (Leather, artificial leather, fabrics, ...)

 Shoe and leather industry

Textile and clothing industry (applications, felt, fabrics, ...)

 Rubber

1. Modifications of data and drawing creation

We can use all major CAD formats for further processing. (SEM, DXF, DWG, AI, PDF, CDR, IGES, STP, ....). The data must be prepared or redrawn for the laser cutting machine and the flatbed plotter.

2. Lasercutting and plotting patterns

It is possible to cut the stiffener plates and engrave the annotations with our 1500W laser cutting machine

if it is necessary. This allows that the best accuracy can be observed. The patterns are cut and labeled on our MBB Flatbed plotter.

3. Bending

Depending on the application we use cutting knife steels with thickness of 1,5mm, 2mm, 2,5mm and heights of 19mm, 32mm, and 50mm and we bend them with foot-benders. The bending of the punching tool is  still pure handwork and is performed manually by our team.

4. Welding

After bending, the cutting knives are welded. It is very important to keep the disortion as low as possible,  despite the high temperature contribution.

5. Completion

After welding of the knives the last step is the completion. We optionally install hole punches, pins or sign ribbons, the joints were brazed and notches and size symbols were pressed in the cutting knife.

Afterwards the labeling of the cutting tool follows.
All of our cutting knives are provided with paint to achieve better corrosion resistance.

After a final inspection, the tools are ready for shipping.
